Postage and packaging costs will be added to the value of your order, which you can view prior to purchasing based on the following criteria:

Packaging costs are included as part of the Postage and Packaging charge. We reserve the right to change special offers on postage and packaging at any time. LionSports.co.uk will ship all orders received before 12 PM GMT the same day and all orders received after 12 PM GMT the next business day. LionSports.co.uk reserves the right to alter same day shipping cut-off during all holiday periods.

Online Privacy Policy

LionSports.co.uk has established this Privacy Policy (Last Updated, 3rd August 2008) to explain how it protects and manages the personal information that it collects from you (the customer) online.

1. Consent for Collection, Use and Disclosure

Your use of the lionsports.co.uk site and/or your registration for lionsports.co.uk products and services constitute your consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the lionsports.co.uk site.

lionsports.co.uk may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. When it does, lionsports.co.uk will also revise the “last update” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. In addition, lionsports.co.uk will seek a customer’s prior consent, by email, for any new uses or proposed disclosures of information collected from the customer prior to the change. lionsports.co.uk will notify customers by emailof changes to this policy that will affect information collected from them in the future. In certain circumstances, however, lionsports.co.uk will not inform and obtain the consent of the customer, such as in connection with an investigation of a breach of an agreement, contravention of laws, an emergency where the life, health or security of an individual is threatened, the collection of a debt or in compliance with the request of a law enforcement agency or a court order.

A customer may withdraw his or her consent for collection, use and disclosure at any time by sending an email to webmaster@lionsports.co.uk. Please note that, if you do, lionsports.co.uk may suspend its provision of products and services to you. Whenyou unsubscribe, if you fall within the guarantee period for any lionsports.co.uk product and you request a refund, the guarantee will be honoured.

2. Accountability

lionsports.co.uk collects, at the time of your registration and your sign-on to its web site, certain “personal information” (information that personally identifies you) including but not limited to your name, email address, home or work address, telephone number, and information about your computer hardware and software (e.g., IP address, operating system, browser type, domain name, URL, access times, and referring web site addresses).

lionsports.co.uk has implemented this Privacy Policy to protect personal information received from its customers, and to respond to any inquiries. The Privacy Policy also provides that lionsports.co.uk will use appropriate contractual means to establish a comparable level of protection for personal information which is sent for processing by third parties on cricketbatsetc.co.uk’s behalf.

lionsports.co.uk has designated responsibility for your personal information to its Privacy Officer, who ensures compliance with the principles in this Privacy Policy. Other lionsports.co.uk individuals may be delegated to act on behalf of the Privacy Officer.

If we hire other companies to provide some products or services on our behalf, then we will only provide those companies the personal information they need for the Identified Purposes, and we will limit their rights to use and further disclose your personal information as appropriate in the course of their work for us.

4. Limiting the Collection of Personal Information

lionsports.co.uk limits its collection of personal information to only that information which is necessary for the Identified Purposes. lionsports.co.uk does not direct its site to, nor does it knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen.

When you visit the lionsports.co.uk web site, a cookie may be placed on your computer or the cookie may be read if you have visited the lionsports.co.uk site previously. lionsports.co.uk uses cookies to allow lionsports.co.uk to determine which products and services you have already purchased so that lionsports.co.uk does not provide redundant information to you, and, if you are an lionsports.co.uk affiliate, to track lionsports.co.uk sales made to customers referred by you so that you can receive compensation under our affiliate program. If you choose to not have your browser accept cookies from the lionsports.co.uk web site, you may not be able to view all the text on the screens, or to experience a personalised visit, or to subscribe to certain service and product offerings on the lionsports.co.uk site.

5. Disclosure, Processing and Retention

lionsports.co.uk does not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to anyone else, except:

(a) to someone you have designated to act as your agent, for one or more of the Identified Purposes (listed in Section 2, above);

In addition, as we continue to develop our business, we or our affiliates may sell or buy other businesses or entities, or we may merge with another company. In such transactions, personal information may be one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that lionsports.co.uk or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets.

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States, or in any other country in which lionsports.co.uk or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities. By using this web site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

After your account becomes inactive (that is, if you request to be removed from our database), lionsports.co.uk will keep your personal information in its archives. Your information will then be used only as necessary for tax reasons or to prove cricketbatsetc.co.uk’s compliance with any applicable law.

6. Accuracy of Personal Information

lionsports.co.uk will use reasonable efforts to keep customer personal information accurate for the Identified Purposes, and for minimizing the possibility of making inappropriate customer decisions based on such information. Customers are responsible for informing lionsports.co.uk about changes to their personal information. You can do this by calling 028 2563 9696 or sending an email to privacy@lionsports.co.uk. lionsports.co.uk will use new or updated personal information it receives from customers to update its own records.

7. Security Safeguards

lionsports.co.uk will use reasonable efforts to protect customers’ personal information.

8. Access to Personal Information

If lionsports.co.uk is not able to provide access to some aspect of a customer’s personal information, it will provide reasons for denying access such as; that by doing so would likely reveal personal information about a third party, or that it is confidential commercial information or attorney–client privileged communications, or that the information relates to a breach of an agreement or a contravention of law, or that its disclosure could reasonably be expected to threaten the life or security of another individual.

Customers have the right to request that inaccurate or incomplete information be amended as appropriate, by contacting lionsports.co.uk or the Privacy Officer as described above. lionsports.co.uk will promptly correct such personal information.

Returns & Replacements
In the event a carrier returns an item due to being refused, a bad address being supplied or non availability of a recipient all shipping charges assessed by the carrier will be added to the customers bill and the customer will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Shipping charges usually consist of shipping to the customer, shipping back to LionSports.co.uk and any address correction fees. LionSports.co.uk will allow a 7 day return policy during which any recipient may return an item at their own expense, within 7 days of receiving it, if not completely satisfied. A refund of the actual cost of the item only will be honored.

Claims

All damage claims, discrepancies and late delivery claims must be made within 3 business days of the items(s) being received. There will be NO exceptions to this policy. If a gift arrives damaged or there is a discrepancy, LionSports.co.uk will make every effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner to the customers satisfaction. Credits and/or refunds will be at the sole discretion of LionSports.co.uk and will only be issued if damaged gifts or discrepancies can be identified by the carrier. If the customer disposes of the item(s) before we can verify the damages/discrepancy we will not issue a refund. All claims must be issued in writing by email or fax. Claims will not be accepted via the phone.

Ordering
Once an order has been received, you will automatically receive a confirmation email from LionSports.co.uk, confirming receipt of order as well as order details. We will endeavour to dispatch orders via your chosen shipment method on the day of receipt of order (subject to the item being in stock). A confirmation email response will be sent by email to confirm that the item has been dispatched. If we do not have your order in stock, we will tell you by either email or telephone at which point we can advise when the item will come into stock and discuss whether you require to cancel that part of the order or wait until it comes into stock.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
All prices listed on Lionsports.co.uk are displayed in UK pounds sterling and  are all inclusive of VAT.  Your order will be available to view and amend before you submit to us. The total cost will include the product or products selected and any additional services you may have requested (e.g. installation, extended warranty etc).  As noted in the Shipping and Returns section, exceptional shipping charges may be applied once your order has been received but these will always require your consent before the order is processed.  We accept payment from major credit cards, Debit Cards and PayPal.

Viewing Orders
If you have registered as a customer with the Lion Sports website, then you can log in at any time using the 'My Account' link at the top of each page to check on the status of current orders and see your order history.  This information is not available to customers who choose the 'Guest' checkout option

Updating Account Information
As well as viewing order history, registered customers can also view and update their personal details (name, address, etc.) via the My Account link at the top of each page.  Once updated by the customer, this will then be live on the system and it is the responsibility of each registered customer that this information is accurate.
